Skilled woorcarver creates not only by his/her own inspiration. The people impressed by the work often have their own ideas about the creation the master shall make for them. It can be some partial idea about how it could look like, but future customer may also give woodcarver a model according to which he would work. One way or another, if a carver is skilful and an interested person is respectable, both parties will be satisfied.
